The Menstrual Equity Challenge
The Menstrual Equity Challenge is a tangible commitment to building more inclusive sports environments for active girls and women.
It supports organizations in providing menstrual products, integrating education and normalizing conversations about menstrual health because menstruation must never be a barrier to participation, performance or dignity. Period.
Through the Challenge, sport environments move from intention to action, embedding menstrual health into their culture and infrastructure. Together, we can build a sports culture where periods are spoken about as openly as training and where every athlete can perform without shame, stigma or barriers.
The Challenge helps organizations integrate:

The reality
Menstrual health remains a structural gap in sport:
- 60% of active women report limiting or avoiding sport during their cycle.
- 1 in 5 women fear they may not be able to afford menstrual products in the coming year.
- Only 11% feel comfortable discussing menstrual health with their coach.
The impact on health, safety, confidence and long-term sports participation is real. Menstruation should never determine whether someone shows up, stays in sports or feels they belong. Period.
